ブラジルのUVFでデビューし、米国ではUFCやSTRIKE FORCEで活躍。
日本ではPRIDEや戦極、IGFのリングでハズレの全く無い試合を魅せてくれた。
ニックネームは「リアル・ドンキーコング」。もちろん日本のファンが命名。
MMAだけでなく、ハッスルのリングでプロレスも行い、その懐の広いファイ
ティングスタイルは我々を唸らせ、魅了した。
圧巻だったのは2004年のPRIDE GP。
調子に乗りまくったミルコ・クロコップをワンパンチでKOしたランデルマン
は、正直「神」に見えた。
享年、たった44。あまりに早過ぎる･･･。
IGFで、もう少しだけ試合をするタンデルマンを観たかった。
